FAQs

Questions people usually ask

Can’t see yours here? Get in touch and we’ll give you a straight answer.

How much will it cost?

Our monthly packages start at £60 for sole traders and landlords and £120 for limited companies, and you can see them all in our pricing section. One-off work is £28 an hour or a fixed quote, agreed before we start, with no hidden extras.

Do you only work with businesses in Manchester?

No. We’re based in Manchester but work with clients across the UK. Everything runs through the cloud, so we can work together wherever you are.

Which accounting software do you work with?

We work with leading cloud accounting software. If you’re still on spreadsheets or an older system, we’ll help you choose the right package and move your records across with your history intact.

My books are behind. Can you still help?

Yes. Catching up on overdue bookkeeping is a common starting point. We bring everything up to date first, then move on to a regular routine.

Can I switch from my current accountant?

Yes, and it’s simpler than most people think. We contact your previous accountant for the information we need and handle the handover for you.

Does Making Tax Digital affect me?

If you’re VAT registered, it already does. For Income Tax, it depends on your income from self-employment and property. We’ll check where you stand and get you set up in good time.
